Anchor, a hook to attach a ship to the seabed? Back when I went sailing we always talked about dropping the hook if we meant anchoring. I'm pretty sure it wasn't just a family thing  I did not think that I had made it up but I can't think where I would have heared it said just one of those part remembered things. |
