That's an old pub, The Seven Stars. Obviously no longer trading, but immediately to the right of your shot there's an alley leading down to a small car park. Lots more graffiti and street art along there and surprisingly the side doors of the pub occasionally spring open - there are people living inside the building.

Thank you for the pub's former name. The upper floors do look very well kept certainly not derelict or even squatted, the windows are kept cleaner than most trading pubs windows. I expect it will be business use, media, advertising or something along those lines. I did have a conversation on FB with an American friend that lived in London in the '80's regarding the area not been gentrified and concluded that it had been 'Hipster Gentrified'. I took the series of photographs returning from a site visit to an advertising agency in Redchurch Street. During the day the area is deeply trendy but at night it is like the Wild West, within a hundred yard walk you could buy almost any illegal substance or service imaginable.
