Even up here in Edinburgh there were still a worrying number of wasps flying around my pal's garden two weeks ago. Still have not seen a frost.

Cloudy with odd bits of light rain, but milder than yesterday when it didn't get into double figures and the murk has been washed out.

Solid grey here. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, so I will go out into the countryside for a bit of mental health photography. Hopefully there will still be some autumn leaves left round the Duke of Marlborough's rear entrance.
