Yesterday I had an appointment at the dentist just before midday. I almost didn't make it as the weather was horrid and the occasional gusts threatened to blow me back home again.
When I came out of the building (which is at the crest of a small hill) the wind recognised me and started up again in its viciousness.
Nice thing happened. A gentleman (I say advisedly) grabbed me as I was waiting to cross the road under my own steam, not the wind's, and escorted me across. It was really nice and made my day.

A cryptic clue to my weather. It's cofld, wet and miserably dark. "Darn Sarf" in Edinburgh it is noticeably getting dark earlier and earlier. Must be even more noticeable "Oop Nord". |

Odd - the days here are getting longer, although the weather is similar to yours. I must be in another hemisphere, or something...

It’s been particularly chilly here today, in spite of plenty of sunshine. The forecast looks more promising from the weekend onwards, temperatures could be back up near 20C for a few days.

7.4⁰ now. I've just dug out my winter duvet as I was a bit chilly in bed last night and it's colder tonight. Not had to change duvets this early in the year 🥶🥶

Was baltic here this morning, I needed a beanie and my winter coat - a coat which is very uncomfortable in temperatures above 10° and is toasty down to -10°. |

Dropped to 5.4⁰ overnight according to the weather station 🥶, I can report that the winter duvet was comfortably warm.
Got another similar day forecast today, showers during the day and a clear night, which suits me just fine.
