Warm today but quite cool this evening with a fresh easterly breeze coming off the sea. Wind swinging round to the south tomorrow and 27C predicted.
What we haven’t had for quite few weeks is any decent rainfall. My water butts are empty and the grass is now a straw colour.

Forecast insists rain and thunderstorms to coincide with morning commute, but sunny and warm thereafter. Wind has really picked up again.

Frustrating night. MO says it was going to be clear so I set up a 4 hour imaging run. The run had barely started when my rain alarm pinged so checked the radar, lots of shower echos incoming. There was no way I was going to leave the telescope imaging with rain on the way so shut down.
MO have another clear night forecast for tonight but I'm not convinced.
Oh, and the temperature didn't drop below 20⁰ last night.

Lovely day yesterday, rained overnight though. We are going campervanning for a few nights up in Yorkshire today. The weather up there is forecast to be 28° and sunny today. We were planning on doing a walk this afternoon so it will either be nice or a really horrible thing to do!
Weather also looks good for Tuesday but not as hot.

Thunder, lightning, and rain bang on cue. I hope for your sake "they" haven't generated that lightning. People are losing their hair due to the increase in radiation from the lightning that "they" create. |

Thunder, lightning and rain. It went dark as night. Sun now shining bright and things seem to have gotten warmer. Will venture out later.
