We're enjoying a few days of spring weather. Next week, though, a blast of air from Antarctica will send us back to winter... Just like Scotland then - except of course ours is coming from the arctic.

After yesterday's yuk it's now bright and sunny with a few days of summer weather coming up next week.

A "tropical night" last night, it's already 25⁰ indoors and above 20⁰ outside. We have yellow warnings for thunderstorms for today and tomorrow so perhaps we'll get one and it will clear the air. There's also a possibility of a clear night tomorrow night, but so much clag in the air that I wonder just how transparent the sky will be 🤷♀️.

Duh, a "tropical night" is the term that the Met Office use for a night where the temperature doesn't fall below 20⁰. Why don't you bother to find out what I was talking about? Or were you pissed? In any case it actually wasn't quite "tropical" but was still unpleasant for sleeping.

Fed up. Was expecting thunderstorms and torrential rain, nothing. I can see storms all around but nothing here. The air's filthy with clag and needs a good washing.

A lot of rain overnight, but it waited until I was dragging back shopping today before the heavens opened and tried to drown me. Hopefully that's it for today.

It's black over Bill's mother's. Heard a rumour that this saying has been around for a few centuries, the Bill referred to being W Shakespeare

After yesterday's murk and fog it's actually brightened up with blue sky and sun. There may even be some clear sky tonight.
