Met Office reckoned 6C overnight in Oxford... the tomatoes won't have liked that! Also works as a euphemism!

A horrible dank day, here - grey, drizzling and cold.

A couple of weeks away from midsummer and itβs gone all wintry. Strong winds, rain and 11C.

I crossed a river in the carpark on my way to the steps and off home. Enough is enough! It's hissing down here. Feel sorry for those lower down in town. Get the sandbags out and the wellies.

Grey clouds, sun, rain, sun, rain, clouds, washing out, washing in, then washing out again!
I can almost guarantee rain from tomorrow onwards in North Norfolk for 5 days. We are going camping in the van!

Down here in the balmy (Barmy?) south west the temperature was 10β° when I got up, and had dropped to 7β° overnight. The forecast is showing a couple of days of "fine" weather then rain, rain, and more rain. I hope I'm wrong, but I can see another washout summer like 2012. Forget about barbeques, T-shirts and shorts (Or sun dresses depending on preference) it's more likely to be waterproofs and wellies. And winter woolies π₯Ά. As I said, I hope I'm wrong and it's just my innate pessimism, and come September we'll be looking back on a wonderful summer, but π€·ββοΈ

Typically Western Isles weather and actions. Kate and next door neighbour chatting across the fence whilst the drizzle slowly gives us both curly heads and damp cardies. Wouldn't live anywhere else!

I managed to dodge the heavy rain by taking an extended lunch. Only got mildly moist on afternoon walks (and cycles).
