The only picture I can think of that fits the bill is this one from 2007. I made it mono - possibly if we had a "minimalist" theme on APForum, which does seem likely because they are both in my Flickr AP folder. I'll give both mono and colour versions. I don't know if this counts as minimalist. I quite like the marine lake at West Kirby as a location. Just after a (high) high tide, when the walk-way is clear enough to walk on there is an "infinity horizon" effect, particularly when it is misty and the hills across the Dee estuary are hidden and the grey sky and sea merge into one. Downside is that often there is nothing much happening. There are few like this - not sure if this one has been posted on APForum or not. At least two from this day have. Last one from me unless I go out today and get inspired. Thanks for the kind comments on the others Keith. I wouldn't call this minimalist but it is a simple composition and one that I thought "photograph" for its own sake. Mostly I just snap away for reminders of the day - e.g we went to the Marine lake and the tide was in. Attingham Park, 2018 DSCF2521.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

The first one "in the bag" that comes to mind I posted here (in another thread) back in July. Edit: having looked back - the second and third I already used in Autumn. It looks very much like a Golden Delicious. DSCF5028.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
