Rail strikes, ferry strikes, NHS strike are just a minor inconvenience to the Scots. This is really serious though.

Can't stand Diet Coke, Pepsi or any other soft drinks without full fat sugar overload. If they ain't got fat coke I'd sooner drink fizzy water, which amazingly enough is what sugar and caffeine free drinks are (just about)

The 1901 is still ok though. Not much use to me when they don't do 500ml bottles in the chiller. It's basically coke or nothing if I want to take some fizzy juice on a bike ride now. Barr's cream soda used to be one of my favourites.

Looks like they make that one in Milton Keynes and is unlikely to be found on shelves up here. Can't say I've seen it or tried it.

There was a "tuck shop" just outside the gates of my primary school where they did an "ice cream soda", a glass of cream soda with a lump of vanilla ice cream in it. Damn but I can still taste it, yumm

Coke is wonderful stuff, I recall that is was the only thing that would remove rain repellent form aircraft windscreens. I wonder what it does to ones insides? I stopped drinking coke/pepsi etc. some years ago.

Do you consume vinegar, citrus juices, etc.?
