I find the desire to own a boat becomes stronger as I get closer to the equator. You can in one of these. Ha! PS Or is it just posing and sunbathing that attracts you? Not the actual sailing?  You know me so well.
To the list we must add swimming in deserted coves and private beach bbq with freshly caught fish.

While my Garmin watch charges from the USB port - another view of the Parisian model boating lake taken in 2011. I don't think either of these pictures has seen the light of day before. I must have been dead on my feet with the heat - lots of really "off" pics from the day as if the camera had become too heavy.  IMG_0220.jpg by Pete, on Flickr I'm sure that there was a model boating lake in the park where I lived (Watford, ages 7- 11) and there was one in Southampton when I was at University there but I can't think of any others that I have seen. We certainly had a model boat pond in the park at Eastbourne growing up. |

I'm running out of locations. I thought Cowes might be worth trying. We were last there (family do) in 2012 - I can't remember the occasion.
