Just been listening and singing along to a 1960s tribute act performing here at the nursing home. It was fun for a Thursday afternoon and some of the residents that normally sit in their wheelchairs 🦽 looking into space genuinely enjoyed themselves.. it wasn’t the best of act’s but it passed an hour

Some tracks from the Baroque period, Organ concerto by John Stanley (1712-1768) best known for his trumpet voluntary otherwise rarely known apart from Church organ repertoire, if you leave it running after the end of the first work, 5 more concerti follow for some for harpsichord others for organ
He also wrote some Flute sonatas, this one accompanied by Theorbo
