Not normally a fan of bagpipes... I'm not usually a fan of Flying V.s but I will make an exception for that one - whatever it is.

What? Even the fourth verse? What have you done with the real JohnY?
Edit - the tune/setting does ming a bit. A taste lapse for the otherwise extremely good Scots composer James Oswald.

I was thinking of the themes rather than the words. Verse 6 of our National anthem is not official but quite rabble rousing in the right circumstances. Lord grant that Marshal Wade, may by thy mighty aid, victory bring. May he sedition hush, and like a torrent rush, rebellious Scots to crush. God save the King!

It seems you are correct re the verse number. My initial hurried searching suggested that it was verse four which was the offensive, xenophobic, alienating pish. But I was wrong.
Why do you say the verse is not official? I am unaware of it being officially removed, just unofficially not sung - in public at least. Yes I do remember you crowing your joy at singing it with your pished [gammon?] pals.

An Extract from an article in The National JohnY.
" While prime minister, Gordon Brown ordered a review of British citizenship conducted by former attorney general Peter Goldsmith, who suggested that the verse calling for "rebellious Scots" to be crushed should be rewritten.
Speaking in 2007, Goldsmith said: "Quite a number of people have raised the issue of the national anthem in a number of ways.
"I think the national anthem is an important part of our national tradition."
He added: "But the review is about different ways of sharing our tradition and national identity ...

"What we have to look at is different ways of saying what it is that links the country together."
However, in 2010 it was confirmed that no changes would be made to the anthem."
So you can continue to sing the whole thing - where you feel safe to do so - if you wish knowing you are being a traddy patriotic Brit.
