Not very clear, it was down the back of a bench between the bench back and the rear of the seat. Grey Dagger Moth caterpillar. Took ages to find a reference photo, it seems they vary a lot in colour and hairiness. 274A2033.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Went looking for "fruit" for today's theme at Erddig but looks like they have picked everything. Saw this on the wall. Very heavy crop because I couldn't get close - the border flowerbed is quite wide and I was using a 100 mm macro. Common Darter (male) 274A2046.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

The butterflies were out in force too. Especially the Red Admiral although I was a bit remiss about watching the exposure time.
