Yes a late afternoon photograph of a skier and a boarder making their way down off the mountain. The upper left is technically off piste, the lower right is the marked piste which will be smoothed out by the piste machines over night.

Minimal DOF Actually a focus stack of half a dozen images (I can't move the focus control subtly enough to get more) but it's still a long way off enough to get the whole of the fly's ankle reasonable sharp. House fly ankle by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr

Minimal lens elements - the rear group from my Soligor 105mm f/2.8 has been completely removed due to untreatable fungus. Fortunately the remainder works with a little extension as roughly a 200mm f/4 Soligor 105 without rear group by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr

I decided to try a high key mono on this picture from April 2007 - one of the first I took with my then new 5D. A colour variant had been posted on AP forum, possibly in October 2020. Is it minimal enough ? I could have blown out all the detail but I thought I'd keep it in. IMG_0043.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
