Beginners luck.  LR select subject, invert, move sliders left.  Main image move sliders left until almost nothing left.  It was "make something low key" and I had something with a lot of dark in it.

Meeting places.

Here on the Islands, we tend to keep open house - to friends and postmen alike! I can only think of one friend who resolutely stays at the door after knocking and waits to be let in. I must admit I like the informality of people who treat me as one of their own Islanders and knock (sometimes) and stroll in to find me.
So here's my morning kitchen as a meeting place - where they usually find me.
