Well that was certainly short and to the point. He's a Chelsea fan, so coming to recent terms with the concept of hundreds of millions disappearing with nothing to show for it.

Seems some MSPs are pissed that the SNP are paying his legal costs and are threatening to withhold their £250 per month party membership fee.
Ooh, the excitement!
And Nicola is raging about folk asking about their finances. TBH I kinda feel sorry for her and would be very much surprised if she was in on any deliberate wrongdoings.

High profile arrest, then released without charge. Must have needed something to put in the news bulletins. Really no idea what's going on but it seems clear that they could have interviewed him without arrest. It seems a bit Craggy Island... That's part of the mystery to me - why arrest somebody when they could have just as easily called them in for questioning, you know, the old 'helping the police with their enquiries' bit? It definitely smacks of Keystone Cops. Surely the point is that if arrested, the person being questioned cannot choose to leave, which they can when they attend questioning voluntarily?

Apparently the police raided another property today although I'm not sure what the connection is and the snazzy motorhome seized the other day is claimed to be a SNP battle bus for campaigning.

Talking to an ex senior cop today, apparently in Scotland it is now the norm to arrest without charge if assistance with enquiries is desired. So more procedural than telling of detail in the case.

..... but, not half as p*ssed off as I am at the (reported) £220k that the taxpayer is being asked to stump up, to pay for Bozo's defence in the inquiry to establish whether he misled Parliament.

Innocent people get arrested all the time unfortunately. A while back someone I've known for a long time was accused of rape and arrested.

I see a male doctor in Ayr went to donate at a blood bank and was turned away because he refused to confirm wether or not he was pregnant.

One can always remain silent. Whether that’s effective is another matter.

As for what is going on in Scotland, “something is rotten in the state of Denmark”.
