Remind me, what time are we meeting and where? Let me go back and check my original suggestion, I recall the place but not the time!

Remind me, what time are we meeting and where? Let me go back and check my original suggestion, I recall the place but not the time! Right, I suggest 11am opposite Tom Tower. It's uncentral enough to be slightly quieter, but central enough to be easy to find, handy for buses from the Sarf and the station, and distinctive to look at! maps.app.goo.gl/qM6h8y8i4hAz7qSs9From there we can do the historic centre, newer bits, Christchurch meadow sand the river, depending on what people fancy. The only caveat I would add is that I've not been University staff for years, so will not be able to get into colleges without paying.

Do you know which bus I need to get from the P&R or is it just one bus into town. Will it go by this location?
Edit. Actually looking at the map, I dare say any bus into the city centre would work. Ignore me.

Any bus from the P&R with Oxford on the headboard will get you there, from the P&R itself I think your choice is the 2 or 2A. From the road there are extra ones that don't go into the P&R, but I think three of the four run very close to each other.
Once it terminates in Oxford get off, turn right at the end of the road, left at the end of that (about 15 metres), and you should see Tom Tower ahead of you past the end of Cornmarket Street.
Anyone coming from the South via the Redbridge P&R will find their bus stops near enough opposite Tom Tower. From London, you would probably have to head West along the High Street from the Queens College stop. None of those should be much more than a five minute walk. From the station, there are buses that come past, I know the X2 does.

Looking at Google Maps, it seems that walking from the train station to Tom Tower can be done by passing the London Camera Exchange shop..... Let's just hope that the weather on the day is dry
