Good choice. Sightseeing? One of Caro's clients is having a book launch and being as we've never been to Edinburgh* we decided we should go up. It's just for three nights, but will be good to get away * Been to Edinburgh Airport quite a few times (and then onto Grangemouth with work) but never got the chance to go to the city

How is the back for climbing hills and steps?

Assuming it doesn't clash with first cut silage making I'll be there.

I was trying to avoid May as I have both a vintage lawnmower rally and a cricket tour, but I reckon I can do Saturday 11th - does that suit people better? I'm in Edinburgh! Booked the hotel/flights two days ago. Bother (for me), but good for you. Great city.

I had better start looking at campsites I think Adrian's allotment, at a push. Given the amount of rain lately, a narrow boat may be a better choice

I had better start looking at campsites I think Damn... I was going to suggest the one I always go to (Abingdon Road) when visiting Oxford with the tent but it's listed as "Permanently Closed". Was a great location as it's a five minute walk from the center of town

Was a great location as it's a five minute walk from the center of town I think that's the one I was looking at for last year, but when I phoned them, they were temporarily closed for bookings. looks like it is a permanent now then as I couldn't see it when searching (having said that I couldn't remember its name just knew it was close to town)
