I thought you meant that they were all different pictures of the same bird. If it was a different bird and moving quite quickly the most likely candidate for the silhouette is a wood-pigeon. No, it was definitely a bird of prey, as it had flown near us and by the time I had the camera out it was plummeting earthwards. Kestrel maybe - but pigeons (and cuckoos) in flight can look like hawks. BV9R0263.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I reckon it's a Hobby. Face markings certainly suggest so. They have broad wings like a hawk, hence the Latin nam Falcon Subbuteo (buteo being buzzards).

Must get my eyes tested Tail is a bit long for a peregrine. With the wings held back like that the wing tips should be almost in line with the end of the tail.

It's definitely not a peregrine. It's either a hobby or a kestrel

Spending some time hunting these little fellas. They are so shy and incredibly fast it's surprising to get any shots at all. Still trying for a fish in the beak shot SHCF3925-01 by Stephen Hayto, on Flickr

Bank Mynah according to Google lens. India? Yes it was. I wondered what was swearing at me! lol I used to work with a chap who lived under Japanese occupation in Malaysia. He could swear in English, Hindi, Tamil, Chinese (Cantonese I think) Japanese and a native Malay tongue...
