Yesterday a quick gallop around King's Mill reservoir, a couple or three cormorants about, posing nicely through a gap in the trees

We had a leucistic Canada goose locally recently and there is a leucistic Buzzard on the plain.

I also saw a photo of a leucistic Oystercatcher recently. Taken in Norfolk iirc.

Not sure what this is. Looks like a pigeon to me, but I saw it hanging around (see what I did there? ) over someone's garden. Plain clothes hawk of some sort?

I also saw a photo of a leucistic Oystercatcher recently. Taken in Norfolk iirc. NFN? We used to have a leucistic coot in Oxford, got whiter and whiter over several years before it vanished.

As a side issue, are white pigeons (as opposed to doves - if there's a difference) leucistic or a normal colouring? Due to interbreeding with doves or something?
