AP Newspeak continues to inspire...
How does one 'press the shutter'? The shutter release/button perhaps.

AP Newspeak continues to inspire... How does one 'press the shutter'? The shutter release/button perhaps. The editor in me wanted to put in (sic) and then another (sic) but it spoiled the impact and I just copied what was printed. Presumably AP lifted the text from Instagram together with the picture it accompanies.

Perhaps the photographer(?) in question was carrying a walla as well as a shutter ?? It's a shame that the text with the picture is so distracting, since the image is interesting. However, as with most images in AP, I would love to see the unedited original alongside the final version. The more alike the two are, the more I would be impressed. I look forward to the AP review of the 'Walla', the next 'must have' accessory that we have all survived without until now.

Can't help thinking that the photographer on page 83 needs to turn the heating up in his studio.

Can't help thinking that the photographer on page 83 needs to turn the heating up in his studio. Or possibly “her” studio, and the photographer’s details are on page 82.

I haven't read a new copy of AP for years - physical copies are no longer available down here, and the local library doesn't have it in its suite of digital magazines.
