Stephen Shore posting a common garden plant on Instagram, and it looked just like any other picture of Alchamilla mollis. Now toying with posting similar on one of the Flickr Eggleston / Shore tribute groups.  I had an emulation project on Flickr a few years ago, trying to emulate Stephen Shore's work. This was one of my entries.  t.i.c. homage to stephen shore's sutherland county series - here is a Lewis island view! by Kate Ferris, on Flickr PS I could just live with Eggleston's work but not on my walls. I would previously said this is my most Shore like.
But now... I have to take some fern pictures.

A fat labrador we cross paths with has lost 10kg and for the first time ever my dogs didn't hump him. The owner is nice but my dogs picking on the fat kid was always a source of friction. The dog seems happier too . |

On board the Stena Hollandica, sinking a cold one, and waiting to cast off for the extravaganza of cricket and carousing that is the Dutch tour. Might even take the odd pic (possibly very odd, given the likely level of falling- down juice consumption).
