Ed Sheeran has said he'll quit making music for good if found guilty of plagiarism. Will we be that lucky?

Phew! I just had a telephone appointment with my doctor about blood tests, they are mostly OK apart from LDL which might need getting on top of. But the one that was scaring me witless was the possibility of bowel cancer, but that's come back clear. And breathe 🙂 Good news indeed! Glad to hear it. Re cholesterol. They throw (or used to) their hands up at my LDL. However, when quizzing them about my HDL, it turns out that is really high, so as far as I'm concerned, that cancels out the 'bad' one. I'm still alive without statins.

( I can understand why you may not want to). I have used them for approx 15 years.

We talked briefly about statins, apparently the latest type with fewer side effects is back-ordered for a few weeks, but plenty of time to come to any decision.

Been wondering what to plant round the metal frame I have in the back garden. Last year it gave me wonderful sweet peas. This year I'm going to sow some Hurst Greenshaft peas and see how they do! Ha!

Found out yesterday where I work are doing a review of all the admin staff over the next few weeks after which I will almost certainly be offered a permanent but for the time being I'm staying (originally my contract was due to finish this Friday) on as a temp
Apparently the feedback to the big bosses is everyone is well impressed with my work and really like me as well and they don't want me to go
After some of the slagging off I've had recently that last statement made me feel GOOD!!!!

I had a doctor's appointment this morning - she discussed the results of the blood tests I had last week...my blood glucose continues to be under good control, and all the rest of the tests were fine.

Went to doc for annual check-up and he said I was "boring" since no issues. I guess that's a good thing, but not particularly thrilled with his terminology...

Especially if you've just had your prostate checkup. That's one of many things I have against my GP's practice, in 8 years I've only seen a male practioner twice, both young locums on house visits for chest or throat problems, at the practice always young female docs, at least their fingers are usually smaller.

And you don't have to worry when you see both of their hands on your shoulders as you are entered.

When one of my cousins had a rather pretty female doctor check his prostate he said "Thanks I normally pay extra for that"
