I have a photo on Flickr that gets views every day. It has been on Flickr for a few years and its viewing figures are in the thousands. It is street art and I have titled it Saggy Tits. Obviously a few people like that sort of thing. They’ll be disappointed when they see the pic though. Topless selfie? Ouch! Funnily enough, no. It is this one, with nearly 44, 500 views!! Anyway, since I have been on my diet I'm now only using a trainer bra. Saggy tits by Nigel G, on Flickr

New drivetrain fitted to the ebike I use for work in 17 minutes.
One size up on the gearing seems to mean I'll mostly be using the middle 7 (of 9) gears now...does 30mph on the flat with a gear to spare. And just incase it's useful to the other ebike owners here I went an ebike specific chain from KMC based on reviews and feedback from a guy that runs a fleet of rental ebikes and reckons the extra durability easily offsets the extra cost.

Just done a monotype printing workshop. Not my usual art practice, but interesting, enlightening, and of course fun.

I had forgotten how satisfying it is to actually hold one of my recipe books to find a recipe for cheese sables. Got it and will use probably tomorrow, so long as there are no power cuts or floods.

Finally (I hope) concluded the British Gas saga
"Oh" said the lady in their call centre "It does look like we've been overestimating your usage just a little bit"
Which immediately won her the "Understatement of the year" award because no one could possibly top that!
They wanted £1520 for the last few months but now she's gone through the readings on both the new billing system and the old one then added in the £50 "goodwill" they're crediting me for waiting on all day Saturday for a meter reading when they didn't show up
My bill is £64.47!
If I had not stopped my DD back in April on their advice I'd be about £140 in credit!
Of course now just waiting for it all to be confirmed and tonight they sent me an email to log in for the new bill but of course their website is down!

Well, I'm was having a mooch around Waterstones and there's this Nigella book (cook, eat, repeat), which looks fairly interesting and I don't have any other books of hers. But not worth lashing out £22 on spec. Then I remembered WHS has it marked down by 50% - our local branch seeming to have turned into a remaindered book shop. So I stroll down there.
To find several copies on the shelves. With £8 stickers on the covers. OK, it's worth a punt at that price.
Off to the self-service till and do the business. Turns out it's a copy that was marked down at another branch, and there's a further 50% off - down to £4. Bargain! Even if it does turn out to be a bit meh.

View Attachment At least it's unlikely to end up in a second hand shop display as 'previously loved.'

I did my speed awareness course today. Learnt some disturbing stats, learnt some driving techniques for driving easily at 20mph, learnt that over 60s (the largest demographic in the group) are incapable of learning as they had all attended 3+ courses, it's OK though as they know it all. Overall a positive experience that I feel has made me a better and hopefully safer driver.

I even stood up for cyclists, with much sighing and tutting from the silver speeders.

I even stood up for cyclists, with much sighing and tutting from the silver speeders. Having been an enthusiastic cyclist I can see the attraction of riding however I regularly encounter cyclists who appear to expect other road users to be entirely responsible for their, the cyclists, safety. Such things as; no lights, being on the wrong side of the road, ignoring red lights, ignoring pedestrians on a crossing, lights on the cyclist's head so when they turn the light goes from red to white. The other thing that baffles me is cyclists riding along roads I would avoid like the plague if I were on two wheels.

All bar the head-mounted light issue I've seen daily from motorists tho.

A very small (probably tiny) minority of cyclists ride like moronic psychopaths. At least they are on bikes. If the same individuals were driving cars they would present much more danger to others. The older I get the less I care what damage such individuals do to them selves.
