Up to the last 10 minutes I honestly thought Wales could still do it.
Fantastic performance from both teams. [edit - though not rerflected in the score]
Finn Russel will never be accused of being the most consistant player in the world but the poetry makes up for any trespasses.

Some very good rugby today. Russell had a great second half with his kicking and that pass out of the back of his hands. Ireland and France do seem to be a league apart. Tomorrow’s match could be interesting.

When I saw a reference to van der Merwe I anticipated some very un-PC jokes. They were popular in Africa many years ago. The Africans and Europeans thought them very funny. The Boers less so.
