Let's face it anyone who has had to wash up a Weetabix bowl when it's dried on no that stuffs better than concrete šand we tell our kids that's good for them

The price of Weetabix is a rip off, Tesco sell their own "Stockwell" brand for a third of the price, tastes the same, most noticeable difference I can find is Weetabix has rounded corners, Tesco sqare, one Weetabix weighs about 1 gram more.

Thinking back to the nuclear power thread, perhaps nuclear waste should be encased in Weetabix? |

This a warning!
Yet again, today I find out that someone who used to work for me is undergoing chemo.
I've come to the conclusion someone up there is having a laugh.
They've all (yes, more than one former colleague) who are God-fearing, good living creatures has succumbed.
Me with all my bad habits soldiers on...

I've got a photo somewhere taken in July 2011 of me, Hugh, Dave and Matt Nixon I'm the oldest by about 6 weeks then it's Hugh then Dave about 18 months younger than me and Matt Nixon about 14 years younger than the rest of us Well Hugh is still in the land of the living although he had a massive stroke 3 years ago but Dave died 8 years ago and Matt Nixon 3 years ago and he was the one who didn't smoke , only drank occasionally! I get the once over last Thursday because of my chest infection but apart from that...despite both my brother and my cousin having type 2 diabetes, my blood sugars are fine. Despite a family history of heart disease and never having taken a statin in my life, my heart is strong and my lipids fine. Even given the amount of alcohol I drink my liver function tests came back textbook perfect! I'm really not sure what I am doing right so I had just better keep doing what I am doing! |
