After: Ferrania Tanit - smartened up by gray1720, on Flickr Not actually that much work involved - a good polish with Autosol (I reckon you can polish turds with it, it's that good), the slowest job was removing the shellac with meths. I had to stick the old leatherette back on, but a bit of leather colour balm added to it has made it look a lost smarter. I wasn't going to bother trying to shoot this, but I have two rolls of old Rerapan in the fridge (must get some benzotriazole for the base fog...) and one might just find its way in now I've realised what a looker she is. Definitely female, BTW. Tanit was Phoenician goddess.

Going by the viewfinder it has a vertical native format. 16 shots on a roll of 120 ?
Edit: I just looked it up, 1/2 frame on 127 so that would be 20x40mm ?

It's not much bigger than a 35mm frame. I have a Certo Dolly folder that takes half-frame on 127, what's really interesting is that it has a convertible back for use with tiny, tiny glass plates. Looks as though I need to take a photo of that bit... [/url] Certo Dolly by gray1720, on Flickr
