I hadn't thought of water towers of tanks but of course they are: one in disguise, serving Cliveden according to the caption I gave it. DSCF2105.jpg by Pete, on Flickr (another) Hotel water tower. DSCF1808.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Well, the scanner still works. Tank - looks like a Sherman tank. There is also what looks like a storage tank in the background so 2 tanks in one. 20240925_017.jpg by Pete, on Flickr Probably late '80s. Taken at a museum in Wales that probably isn't there any more - I can't find reference to it but I didn't look very hard. For some reason I thought it was near the Welsh Mountain Zoo which is in Colwyn. I remember parking was difficult, and on the roadside, and on a hill. My wife thinks we went inland and that it was not on the coast but we agree to differ. I'll see if my brother remembers. I used a whole film and there are no location clues. I remember printing this on Grade 5 paper. A much higher contrast than I chose for it in Lightroom just now. Edit: this is now identified as an exhibit at the Grange Cavern Military Museum, Holywell, Flint. The museum is thought to have closed circa 1989 and we now think this photo was probably taken during Easter 1988.

Vase. Surprisingly this bit of Cyprus is lacking in Greek Urns, here are some from Crete.
Edit: I have just noticed a couple from the balcony, I will try to get some pictures when the sun is up.
