Parcel tape mends everything. One Hot Dog. by Keith Hudson, on Flickr It wouldn't have fixed my laptop, but it seems removing the malware software (that auto 'updated' on friday) has done it.

Can't think of anything for optical effects and because it has stopped raining I thought I'd play catch-up on the past days I missed making a contribution for this month. I mended the bird table from bits and pieces. There are three pieces of wood that survived from the original. I enjoyed cutting the shingles which are rather thick veneers rip-cut from a section of old 4" fence post. I had to make a jig to cut the 60 degree mitres on the legs. It does stand upright when the ground is flat. 100V1033.jpg by Pete, on Flickr and I used my new Toy to do it. Toy because I didn't need one but felt like a bit of retail therapy, and it is very great fun to play [carefully] with. It also doubles as a useful Tool. I set it in the closest thing I have to a Trendy environment. A mortice and tenon jig bought to cut compound joints for a stool with a router. 100V1039.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
