Just been out for a nice long walk this morning as it is a cloudy day, looking for photos for this thread. This is the floor of a footbridge over the river that I cross when going to the next village. It has been like this for years and is getting worse. there are decayed holes all across it and It is a well used bridge. I'm surprised they haven't done anything with it yet.

Mended windows, after a fashion, if you work with wood then wood is the fix even if it does not let as much light in.

It also advertises 'Dagger Canes' and 'Swordsticks'. Both totally illegal under current knife-crime laws.
