I found an 'Amateur Photographer Magazine' Video on YOUTUBE and it was my Old Mate from 62 years ago JOHN WADE talking about old Cameras from his collection -- I first met him when he was 16 years old and joined Barking Photographic Society and then he got a job as Junior Reporter on the 'Ilford Recorder' -- I was the first person he spoke to when he arrived at BPS ! Since then I have been in contact with him few times -- for example I won a big Photography Quiz on the Magazine where he was Editor - 'Camera Wold' I think it was -- I won an OLYMPUS VIDEO outfit and he took me to lunch after I went to collect it and he said i could " Order What I Like" so I tried 'Frogs' Legs' - the First and Last Time ever eating that ! He visited Brentwood & District Photographic Club a couple of times when i was 'Syllabus Secretary' with a Suitcase FULL of
Old Cameras including a Mickey Mouse camera and told us the Stories behind them ! So now he has a job as 'Vintage Camera Consultant on the 'AP ' magazine ! Great to see him again !
