As I mentioned in another thread we have been making paper from sack loads of confidential papers I have been shredding. We made A3 size papers, and I cut one in half to practice to see how they go through the printer. Printer was set to thick paper but the paper is uneven, so perhaps some time under the iron might make it flatter. I am learning as I go. The image of the 3 on a stroll looks very effective. If you look closely you can see very fine lines every couple of cm's. It doesn't do that on normal paper, so I assume it is down to the paper not being flat. The one of Shadow man is too dark, but it has no lines. I have just tacked them to the wall in the kitchen to display for these photographs only. On the whole though, quite pleased how they look. I'm surprised that the printer survived!

I'm surprised that the printer survived! Me too, lol. In fairness the paper is not brittle, it can be rolled and bent for instance without cracking. It is obviously heavier/thicker than normal paper but the printer has been set to thick paper setting so I think it’ll be ok. Fingers crossed. The paper is also fed as a single sheet from the rear feed and not part of a stack in the cassette as I really don't think that would work.

Better than buying so called art printing papers The imperfections in them look good too. Probably insects in them somewhere as well, as they have been spread out in the garden drying.

They have a great look. I am surprised not that the printer could cope with the paper but that the ink has taken without a suitable coating, I am assuming that you had it set to print on photo matt or colour on plane paper but even so I would have expected it to have been quite messy.

Might be interesting to try salt prints on that paper.

They look really good. And love the paper! How did you make it? Would be interested to know how you made it. Might be interesting to try salt prints on that paper. I was about to say the same thing
