Re-edit much brighter and voila! Yes, I think if I want to get his 'bright and light' stuff down, I'm going to have to do a lot of editing. No sun here again today. Well, yes, there's sun...it's just hidden. Folks were moaning about putting their heating on again yesterday!

240207-Skating Pond Dog Poo Bing by Kath Polley, on Flickr I've been looking. Not all of Shore's work is bright and light. Which is good because it's not looking like we're getting any bright weather any time soon. Scenic pond and poo box.

I'll give this a go until someone says stop. As I'm completely in the dark I'm going to interpret this as things I wouldn't normally take a picture of because they are boring or out-of-place so I went out (to Ness Gardens) to see what I could find. A shed. Cropped to 16x9. The original had a strip of sky above and a bit of footpath below. This looks a bit odd without a bottom to the picture. The view from the shed. Mundane as anything DSCF1020.jpg by Pete, on Flickr I was looking for a picture of this for "high living" - now I've got one. The flats in the middle of the view from the shed seen across the Dee Estuary ( it was a bit hazy). That is Flint Castle between them and the sea (there is a lot of Flint in between the two of them) DSCF8274.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Your guess is as good as mine. Designed to be a planter I think. the spots are holes and I reckon it was supposed to be filled with soil and have plants growing out of it. DSCF8290.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Danger! DSCF8282.jpg by Pete, on Flickr You'd need a fairly big excavator to be at risk - I reckon someone dug a hole and dumped some building waste.

You are thinking outside your comfort zone, this is a good thing.
A miss quote of Eggleston was that he complained that there was nothing interesting to take pictures of and was told to take pictures of the ordinary because to others these things would be extraordinary.

I have looked at his stuff but don't really know if this one fits the brief, although I guess it is just mundane. I'm just not shore though. A recent one I have re edited for the theme. Tree, bench, Shadow (edit) by Nigel G, on Flickr
