From the family history recording days I have lots of [usually not very good] church pictures and I have been reprocessing some. This however is nothing to do with FH. We came across it on a short walk up the North Wales Coast path from Flint. It is a huge church and for some reason the public version has attracted 89 views on Flickr [that's a lot for one of my pictures]. It is at Bagillt. DSCF0118.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

This is a FH church and was a right pig to photograph. The light was terrible and even with a 24 TSE getting far enough away from it to get it in frame was a real pain. St James' Picadilly. BV9R0415.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Lastly (I choose to stop) - St Beuno at Berriew - could have been a nice picture if the van wasn't parked out front. I kinda remember that there was a whole avenue of trees on the approach and finding a position that framed the church without losing bits off the side was difficult. I had to look up Berriew - it is near Welshpool. IMG_0190.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I never thought of doing that. I played with it a bit in LR once before to see how it worked (very well) but that was all. Yes - very effective - I was a bit amused that the variants placed lumps of masonry where the van was parked. I always thought a separate DNG was created so didn't bother making a virtual copy first - did it afterward and went back and restored the original. Here my AI removal - ought to be the same as yours but the shadow it introduced is deeper. I didn't bother trying to get rid. IMG_0190.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

It is never consistent, so I doubt mine and yours would be the same. Mine took 2 goes (the one where it totally removed the car, left something on the path, so I removed that on the second sweep. Of course it will also be down to how each of us highlighted the object too. The base bricks on yours are better.
