Perhaps a new version is due for release very soon. Buy two whilst stocks last! They (Serif) have just been bought by that Australian company haven't they? New platform offering coming maybe? Version 2 is pretty new. I would not expect version 3 anytime soon. The new outfit may finance a version three preferably offering DAM or maybe AI masking. The big question is whether they stick with the purchase model or go for subscription for version 3. I am quite happy with version 2. I don't use their raw engine. I use Nikon's raw engine to generate 16bit tiffs and process the tiffs in affinity. That would still work for new cameras not supported in affinity. I do not want to push this hard. Affinity provide an Adobe low cost alternative but without DAM or AI. Some people may be interested.
