Monica and I finished a big cleanout in the garden over the weekend. We finally got both of our (largish) flower beds stripped of the plants we no longer wanted. This one, Yellow-eyed grass, is one of my favourites and at the same time most hated. It has small yellow flowers (1cm) which are sparse but pretty. And it spreads like wildfire. I spent 2 days on my knees removing what I hope is every last specimen (even the tiny ones). I'm sure I missed some, but they should be easy to cope with.
