I went to WITHAM Essex to the Cressing Temple Barns for the annual 'Temple at War' event on Sunday May 12th . I got in FREE as I was an Army Veteran wearing my Vet's gear and several people stopped me for a 'Selfie' to show off my 1962 ROLLEICORD Vb I had ! I loaded 2002 FUJI RMS E6 film and processed it myself. Some frames came out a bit 'Dark' but I used FastStone Image Viewer on the TIFF scans to adjust. The LIGHT was very Contrasty so I used a small SUNPAK flash for fill-in but did not give it enough. One Frame may cause some 'Controversy' but see how it goes -- it is 'History' after all -- TEMPLE at WAR 2024 01 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr TEMPLE at WAR 2024 02 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr TEMPLE at WAR 2024 03 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr TEMPLE at WAR 2024 04 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr TEMPLE at WAR 2024 05 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr

Good to see you about, Pete. Hope you enjoyed the Temple - the barns are just magnificent. If anything I'd probably claim those as the apogee of the medieval craftsmans work over cathedrals because you can see what they made.
Sorry, digression, the darkness suits the two guys hiding in it!

Very nice. I prefer the B&W set, partly as they're more in keeping with the subject matter. I take it this is an annual event. I must keep an eye out for it next year!

I take it the controversial photo was that of those men ' blacking up ' ? Suspect it may have been the Nazi memorabilia
