I think it may be some sort of record
My friend Vanda went to Spain for a few days and while she was there she sent me a postcard. Vanda always dates them so on the 30th of October 2023 she sent me a postcard....
It arrived today!

Give credit where due. If I was a posty then in a sense of loyalty to the firm I would have hidden that communication in a crevice in the decaying infrastructure just to aviod embarrasment for my employer for a thousand years. BTW My AP has not arrived yet.

A few years ago, before Covid, my wife tried to buy me a t shirt from a site in the USA but they wouldn’t ship outside the country. As she had a relative in New York she asked them to buy the item and send it to her providing enough money, in dollars to easily cover the transaction. Two years later a neighbour two doors away asked us if we knew someone of my wife’s maiden name as they just had a package left at their address from Germany of which they knew nothing. It was the t shirt and by this time we’d been married for over 50 years but at least I got the t shirt, eventually.
