Any interest in a UK wildlife expedition? Let's start with what people would like to photograph and then we can think about dates and venue.

In principle yes but I'm unlikely to turn out! I've only managed to drag myself to the local RSPB a couple of times this year so far.

I'd like to attend, but I'm without wheels so would need a lift - including my rollator walking aid; venues I'd be interested in:- New Forest wild life centre near Southampton, Brownsea Island in Poole harbour, or the British Wildlife Centre in Surrey; I've been to the last two some years ago but not the New forest one which has UK species and some from abroad.

Captive animals don't appeal to me. RSPB Arne have mobility scooters for hire at a reasonable price and, aside from stupidly tame red squirrel, a greater variety of wildlife (insects, birds, mammals, and all the native reptiles, than Brownsea (cheaper too). Does anyone else know of any other nature reserves offering mobility scooter hire? Weymouth's Lodmoor and Radipole are close enough to the town centre to blag a shopmobility one.

The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust reserve in Arundel is worth a visit, at the right time of year, long drive for many though, me included.
