I wrote these two web pages in HTML using a simple text editor. They are from before I retired, My job sent me to quite a few interesting places. Let me know if the pages load properly in your browser so if there are problems I can fix them. Thanks!! Terry Haida GwaiiAtlin

Thanks! I will probably add more pictures to the Haida Gwaii web page when I have time.

I found the captions in black did not show well against the darkish green and blue backgrounds

Thanks dorsetmike. Would a brighter background work better or maybe a larger font?

A few shades lighter background or more contrasting colour for text, font size is OK

Done! You may have to reload the page as most browsers may not see the slight change and load from the cache instead.

The green background is now ideal, the blue could be a little lighter.

Looks good to me. You have missed an 'e' from Unfortunately in the caption to The View From The First Look Out.
I liked a lot of these but the shots of your rental brought back memories of my large American oven when we lived near San Francisco. It was so nice to be able to put all four pans on at once and not have one knock another off because they were too squashed on the small surface area of a UK stovetop!

Works nicely with Firefox on my windows 10 PC and Chrome on Pixel 7 phone. But I do get a warning on the phone about cathearder.thsite.top and also on my computer. This is not htpps. Anyway well done for going live. I suggest that you sort out your security licencing.

Thanks Kath I corrected that.
I still have to read up on SSL and get the safety certificate sorted which I will do.

Yep, all good on my machine. Like the result.
But that Prince Rupert must have been a big bugger to use him for navigation!
