Here's a couple to begin: SWMBO - Please will you help me means stop whatever you are doing right now and come to do this job that I said that I would do.
SWMBO I'm ready means I'll get into the car sometime in the next 30 minutes.
ME I'll do it later means (probably) that I will never do it.

Actually this means get your coat on and stand by the door for at least twenty-five minutes, while I say goodbye to people and have half a dozen more conversations with them.

If your wife/partner ever says the following it actually means the opposite.
"Fine"
"You do whatever you want"
"No I don't want any chips" (at which point she'll consume 50% of the chips on your plate).

For the record I never got to meet the woman who would have been my mother in law as she died a few weeks after I started dating Maggy.
