I prefer the original, both both versions are unusual and look excellent. In case anybody wants to turn this into a daffs thread, here is one of my pictures taken a few weeks ago. It has not been processed, apart from cropping and resizing for uploading, but if I was getting a print done I might brighten it a little.

I’m a fan of the grey sky option 👍😻 I hadn't realised that it was popped until Fen posted. I've got nothing against grey skies but I don't like skies with the colour taken out in an otherwise colour photo. Curiously I thought the castle looked over-warm in the "as-shot" version. I just thought it was granite in the popped version, shown against a grey sky.
