Me again. Here's a couple that I'm really not sure about... Triangle-2 by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr Twin Peaks by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr These are both from a local harbour wall. I like the patterns and angles but I'm not convinced that I've really got the best out of them. Thoughts?

If these are photographs of real things, can they be described as abstract images? Discuss...

I think the first one works but not the second one.

I think the first one works but not the second one. ^^^ I agree with andy the first one works for me, the triangle is where my eye goes and been off to the right has a all be it busy negative space to the lower and left side. I like it.

Thanks for looking. Over the weekend I reworked them in colour. Triangle-2 by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr Twin Peaks-2 by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr Comparing them to the mono versions I think Triangle 2 in colour is too flat and dull - yes? Twin Peaks on the other hand seems to work better I think as the colours better separate the elements. Anyone feel the same?
