Well, I've finally taken the Kiev shutter out of the Contax. The next step would be to transplant only the shutter curtains - we'll see. Meanwhile, I might put a film through another of my Kievs, but fitted with the uncoated collapsible f2 Sonnar from the Contax.

I'll be very interested to see what you get, John - I must get the hang of Caffenol and run another film through my III, which has the same lens. I should try colour too, I believe the uncoated Sonnars have really dreamy bokeh.

A 1962 Kiev, fitted with the Sonnar lens. It's loaded with Kentmere 100.

The meter even works, and is reasonably accurate. This is the first film I've had in this one, so there could be faults to be discovered.
