Lovely shots Nige. I went to India over 30 years ago and would love to go back one day, I wish I still had my photos from my trip. How long were you out there for, looks like you got around a bit.

I'm exhausted just thinking about such a trip, so I'm glad you did it and brought back such amazing photos. I've really enjoyed going back and looking at them a few times now - thank you!

I’ve been twice and thought it was fascinating. Both times in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. We stayed in Trivandrum, Kovalam, Cochin, Thekkady, Thrissur and a few places in between. Your pictures make me want to go again.

For those of you following this thread, I'd be interested to know what your favourite single photo is.

The set of sleepers is an excellent set, so I am looking elsewhere for an individual...how long do I have to decide, days?weeks?months?

For those of you following this thread, I'd be interested to know what your favourite single photo is. That's a tough ask because there are so many good ones. There are two which I particularly like though. Cremation Ghat is so completely alien to anything I've ever witnessed before. It looks like some kind of apocalyptic film set and yet it's full of people doing things which must happen daily. That backdrop is incredible to behold - looks like it will all fall down any second. It's hard to comprehend people living in and among that. And then, almost hte opposite, Pushchair and Fridge could almost (almost) have been shot in Glasgow. It would have been a different kind of pushchair for sure, but it reinforced for me that where Cremation Ghat made me feel that these were scenes of lives I couldn't comprehend, there were also things going on that are so familiar - we're really not that different at all.

As posted, KPGM Teas, or Sleeping on the Ghat.
If Lady in Red was cropped square losing the left that'd also be in the mix. I think it just needs to be simplified slightly to make the most of its graphic qualities.
