The Tide Is High - And Up To My Knees by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr There are steps there - honest! At low tide they lead down to the slipway but they don't normally disappear completely at high tide, usually the top couple are still visible. I think this lady was stood on the top step. PS Actually judging by the next picture below I think she might be on the second step...

It is entirely possible that I may have a similar set of steps I did at one time spend a lot of time in the West End and would often return home via. Waterloo or London Bridge. I think the closest one to that I have is.
But I don't think it is the same set of steps.
