My car was in for a service and MOT yesterday, so I took advantage to pop into the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Herbert Art Gallery in Coventry. Horrible weather curtailed my planned photographic outing, but the exhibition was pretty great - some excellent photography even if you're not into wildlife. Wasn't convinced that the overall winner was my favourite, oe anywhere near it, but there weren't any shots I felt weren't worth seeing. If it's anywhere near you, it's worth a few quid to see.

Here are some of the winning entries to look forward to at the next exhibition, spotted today on the BBC website. www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn879w0n843oNo technical details of course, but I suspect that none of the hardware used was what I would call 'affordable'.
