I've celebrated the running around in circles having a brief break by souping some negs. Rough phone pics below, as they hang in the shower to dry. Mixed results - plenty of light leaks, one of them being one of the films that just didn't spool tight enough, one from the Kodak I got from eightbittony , (still owe the guide dogs for that one...), and one from my cute Daci. It's the last one that's got me beat - how the hell do I have an under-exposed stripe down the side of every image? If it was something more complex I'd guess shutter capping, but can a simple rotary shutter cap? It's a bit frustrating as the negs look a lot better than any I've seen from the same camera online. The negs I chose to take photos of have a bit of emulsion artefact too, but none of the rest. It was the bottom spiral in the tank - could that be anything to do with it? (the central strip is an artefact of the light, the one to the right isn't). Extremely rough neg pic by gray1720, on Flickr
