The only shot I have to hand that shows the pot is this one: IR plants by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr Quite an elaborate pot.

I don't have any keyworded pics so, unless we go out later, it is a trawl through "gardens" of which I have thousands of pics. This is an interesting pot-urn-whatever IMG_0048.jpg by Pete, on Flickr Seeing it in situ is also interesting. Greenhouse in the Royal Palace, Brussels, 2012. IMG_0050.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I'm out of pots. I thought I had pictures of some huge ones but where they might have been I don't know. I found a novel container though IMG_0115.jpg by Pete, on Flickr Edit: last thought and found another - posted APforum (probably) February 22 taken at Powis Castle in 2010 (July) IMG_0012.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

240114-Clyde Street by Kath Polley, on Flickr This timepiece is useless as it has been stuck at just before five to twelve for as long as anyone can remember. The tower used to be part of a church, the main part of which stood where the flats behind it are now. It was once the Tourist Information Office before such things were deemed unnecessary. It has been purchased by the same person who bought the church where I was married and converted it to a cinema. Nobody knows exactly where he is any more. The cinema is run by volunteers and is now the subject of a proposal for a community buy out because he's pretty much just abandoned it. Talk of fraud is rife.

One of the many things that fascinated me about Malta was the church clocks, most of them display the day and date as well as the time. Valletta IMG_9595editNov by Keith Hudson, on Flickr Not my best church picture but the one that illustrates best the typical clocks dials.
