Well not quite. I created this board on 9/12/22. In this year we've averaged over 3,000 posts, and well over 80,000 page views per month. It has cost me about £150 for the year to keep things ad-free and enable direct uploads.
Sadly I've just been notified that were approaching our current upload limit which gives me 3 options:
A) pay for more storage, which takes me above the cost I was prepared to underwrite. 2) delete a load of images off the servers, which means they'll be gone. iii) remove the option to direct upload and you'll all have to host your images with a third-party like Flickr.
The choice is yours. If you want option A then your going to have to dip into your own pockets to assist with the running costs. Removing the ad-free status isn't an option because it would allow Proboards to commercially use your email addresses.

Happy Birthday.
What is the least effort route? Is it possible to set up automatic deletion of uploads after 10 days or a month say for the monthly theme? I don't see much merit in keeping content in perpetuity. I wouldn't start increasing storage. I thank you profusely for both your efforts and generosity in setting the forum up and funding it. I have no objection to paying a subscription but practically speaking this is a lot of work and hassle to organise unless Proboards themselves have a means of administering it.

I am willing to chip in too although I’d favour option 3 as I hate little thumbnail images that you have to click on to see. Much prefer the Flickr route.
Thanks anyway Martin for the past year. Appreciate it.

What's the easiest funding route? Kofi/buymeacoffee etc. or a payment portal?

I have to say I do not see much value in retention in perpetuity either.

I have held back on posting images because I realised that it was costing you. I would prefer to make a significant one off contribution for the next year or two. How do I do that?

I'm happy to pay but would go with anything to see this place continue. I thank you always for creating the opportunity for us to be together.
